Catalyst Operating UK Limited: Better by experience

Catalyst Operating UK Limited was founded by Charlie Hutchison. 

Charlie, most recently the VP of Operational Excellence at a Global Telecoms Manufacturer, and formerly a Senior Vice President of Global Operations and CIO of a FTSE 100 Company. is an International Executive with considerable experience of successfully implementing major transformational programs and resolving complex business integration issues. Charlie brings a strategic vision and leadership experience covering both physical and digital communications industries, globally. He has lived and worked in Europe, Asia, US and the Middle East, and is experienced in understanding and leveraging local culture and politics to gain commitment and performance improvement.

Charlie was instrumental in executing operational change within the Royal Mail Group, taking both advisory and executive roles. He has also been a Strategic Advisor to British Telecom Group, Huawei Technologies, and Nortel, as well as Chairman and Board member of two Submarine Cable Companies.

In 2004 Charlie ended a 17 year career with Cable & Wireless Group as Group SVP Operations and CTO. During his time with Cable & Wireless, he also held the Group CIO position, as well as roles in Global Managed Hosting, and as European SVP. However, his career has been defined and developed through having taken executive accountability for the successful execution of a number of mergers, acquisitions, and development and integration programs.

Whilst initially, and successfully, operating and a Sole Trader, Charlie established Catalyst Operating (UK) Ltd in 2010, providing Management Consultancy and Interim Management services.
